Spin Premieres New Dr. Dog Video For "Lonesome"
Spin.com is premiering a brand new Dr. Dog video for the band's song "Lonesome." The rollicking track is from the group's latest album Be The Void which Esquire Magazine recently described as "a glorious rally cry, like a band finally finding itself."
The imaginative clip delivers a joyful and unpredictable scenario involving kidnapping, dancing and defilement. It was created by renowned director George Salisbury who has worked with such artists as The Flaming Lips (Christmas On Mars, Watching The Planets, Stardeath and White Dwarfs - Borderline).

Be The Void combines the group's meticulously crafted pop with a far leaner and meaner sound which perfectly captures the rough and tumble energy of their renowned live show. The Philadelphia band entered the studio with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and confidence. "It was reminiscent of when we were starting out and were these fearless weirdoes in a basement, so confident and reckless and bold," guitarist-vocalist Scott McMicken adds. "It was really liberating."
